Why use me
I believe all dogs train at different rates and are good at different things. It is all about using fun, games and rewards to unlock the behaviours we want.
I enjoy working with naughty dogs perhaps because I have always had the naughtest dog in any dog training class.
I love exploring how to make the dog want to work with us.
I spend alot of time training online with overseas trainers so understand the latest science based techniques
I love challenges and new training opportunities.
A little about me
I have four nz heading dogs and one border collie papillion puppy. Two retired from agility and rally and two actively competing. I have been competing in agility for over 20 years and rally for not much less. I enjoy teaching my dogs simple tricks.
I run lifestyle solutions CHB from a 10 acre block in Otane, Central Hawkes Bay. on which I run sheep and goats. I have worked in services associated with agriculture for over 30 years. I have reared alot of calves and lambs.

Meet the team
Beverley Thomson
I started lifestyle solutions CHB because I love helping people build relationships with their dogs. I understand what it is like to have the dog that runs away, bounces on everybody etc. I love finding solutions. I also have a lifestyle block and understand how hard it can be to find somebody reliable to look after your property.
Khon
Khon is the oldest heading dog. He helps shy puppies get used to big dogs. His favourite things to do are sleeping and eating.
Broige
Broige is the second oldest elderly statesman. He loves puppies and acting as a distraction. His favourite pasttime is keeping an eye on everything that happens in the neighbourhood.

My latest pup is a Border Collie Papillion cross - so fluffy and smaller
She will be staring in my puppy classes in person and online
Te
Te is the oldest competing dog. He competes in agility and rally. He stays away when there are visitors. He loves running fast and often forgets to go over the jumps.
Veloz
Veloz has been out injuried and is just starting to get back into agility. He has taught me alot about crazy dogs but we are working through his issues.
Fusion
Fusion is my youngest competing dog and she is crazy fast but losses her ears at speed. She thinks it is her duty to remind me what having a smart high energy teenager is like. She can get out of almost anything and loves to run. She does everything at full speed with joy. She is going through all the usual boundary testing.
